Under 15 Blues Win on Opening Day

Melksham recorded a victory over Westbury Youth 2nds on the opening day of the 2007-08 season.

Westbury were quicer to start and took the lead after 2 minutes, Melksham began to get more into the game and forced a equaliser through Paul , before a delightful chip from George put Melksham further ahead. A well worked goal for Jonathan involving half the team put Melksham ahead 3-1 at half time.

Westbury were first to strike again 5 minutes intot he 2nd half but Melksham got back into ther stride with further goals from Paul on, 49,59,62, and 72 minutes, George on 68 minutes and Jack Kelly on 50. A fine start to the season with some great football at times.  A real team effort with the new players integrating well.
