Under 13 Girls Dominate V Bradford on Avon
A comprehensive victory against Bradford left Melksham leaders of the division at xmas.
Melksham dominated the game v bradford who they narrowly defeated 2 weeks previous.
The girls pressurised the goal from the start resulting with corner after corner taken by Mary. Finally one paid off with the ball coming out to Ash who hit a left foot shot (yes left foot !!) and it managed to find its way over the line. Bradford started to put some possession together but Melksham struck again before half time with Chelsea directing another corner into the Bradford net.
lauren and Alex were contrlling the back with Abi having a couple of catches to make. The Midfield and forwerds of mary, Jade,holly, Ash and tash began to play some football which they are capable of which resulted in fine saves from the bradford keeper.
Mary hit scored the 3rd and fourth goals with some lovley dribbling through the Bradford defence and slotted the ball away confidently. tash finished off the scoring to keep Melksham top of the division for the xmas period.
Well done girls the passing is coming along and there is alot more to come which youhave showed in training.
