MTYFC Under 12 Girls go down narrowly to Swindon Town Reds

On Saturday 22 September Melksham Town U12 A team travelled to Swindon Town for their away match . A bright start by both teams saw good early action, with a goal for Melksham on 11 minutes by Holly Provis. Swindon continued to take the game to Melksham and scored on 16 and 23 minutes to take a half time 2-1 lead.

Half time drinks and on with the action. The end to end action continued throughout the second half  with both teams going close. Swindon continued to press and their pressure resulted in a goal on 36 minutes. Good team spirit was shown by Melksham and there was much to praise. The final score was  Swindon Town 3-1 Melksham Town
