Girls Section continues to Grow

Melksham Town Youth Girls section has been recruiting over the past 12 months for it's under 10's section with some success.  With an initial group of 10 players ranging from u8 to u10 the group has steadily grown to 22 players who come to regualar training sessions.

During November and December Nigel Fisher from Wiltshire FA attended, King Park, Aloeric, Bowerhill, St Georges. The Manor and Shw schools to do 4 training sessions on be half of Melksham Town Youth. From these sessions we have had 4 new players start to come to the sessions at the club and are enjoying the training.

The younger section now accomodates girls from years 3 to 6 and we have a busy period of games during January and February weather permitting of course, the regular festivals during, March to June.

The girls section also has league teams at under 13 and under 14 who play in the Wiltshire Girls league and are going from strength to strength.
