We have had a great run this season so far.......... and can be very hopeful of a high position in the league at the end of the season and are already in the last eight (Quarter Finals) of the CUP.

Although Facts and Figures might make a team look good they do not show the strength we have in defence, JL, AM, MI, TL, HP have performed so well this season against some very strong opposition, and if we had video playback (volunteers?) the saves that they have made would probably equal the goals scored !

We have had some close calls and pushed our luck on a couple of occasions this season, but also pulled off some very convincing results against 'First Division' Teams - Trowbridge Town A 2-0, Trowbridge Wanderers 2-2, Warminster Highbury 1-0, and if we keep up the effort and 'teamwork' we have a chance of winning the League and CUP.

Having played in 3 CUP games, we are now down to the last 8 (Quarter Finals) against the teams we would expect to see in this group, and have drawn Bradford or Worton and Cheverall in the next round on the 31-1-10.

The strength of the team is hard training and we need to keep this up, so lets focus on 100% attendance at training for the new year - you know who you are !!!!

I would like to thank all of the boys including Joe Lamb (always there when we are short) for making my job easier.

Looking forward, we are hoping to start training with Melksham Park next year, with a view to combining our teams for the beginning of the 11 a side teams. It is our target to have 3 teams of 15 playing for the Club next season.

Windproof tops, these have been ordered but are on long delivery but should be with us in January. We have decided that we will dispense with the Club Logo as this is likely to change next season and just have the boys nicknames on the back. Please let us know if you/they would like to change theirs, see if you can guess the players ?
