Jack Whiting meets it perfectly for another goal
Melksham Town U13 Blue continued their fine form with a 10-1 win away at Westbury Youth A which keeps them top of the blue division. They led from start to finish going 2-0 up within the first 10 minutes with goals from Nick Newth & Wes McBarnett before Westbury struck a beautiful goal to bring themselves back into the game.
Melksham then scored two more before half time with another fine strike from Nick Newth and a good rebound goal from Brad Butcher.
The second half was all Melksham as they scored another 6 goals with Ollie Williams (2), Ben Spong, Aaron Ward-Baptiste, Jack Whiting and Brad Butcher all getting on the score sheet.
Credit goes to Westbury who kept on playing some good football throughout the game and the match was played in a really great spirit.
Man of the match was Alex Hillier for another great display and Ben Spong kept up his record of scoring in every match of the season so far.
