MELKSHAM TOWN YOUTH DAY OUT AT SWINDON
Despite Drizzle and wet and gloomy conditions, A large number of Melksham Town Youth Players/Parents/Managers & Coaches enjoyed a great day out at Swindon Town
A number of MelkshamTown Youth Players,Parents/Managers/Coaches enjoyed a great day out, taking in a tour of the Stadium,80 mins training on the Astro turf and best of all to witness Swindon win 2-1 against high flyers Nottm Forest in a very entertaining game in front of a good 9,800 crowd.
The game was also the first game for the new manager Maurice Malpus.
One of the substitutes was new lad Moses Ashikodi a striker (on loan from Watford) who took time to sign autographs for the Melksham youngsters before kick-off and who came on late in the second half to rapterous applause from all the Melksham crowd and the rest of the stadium with the score at 1-1 and supplied the cross which led to the winning goal which set everyone wild........Great finish to a great day.
