U10 Girls play first Friendly game
After a long season of training the u10 girls played there first friendly against Lavington Girls at Christie Miller.
Both teams are newly formed and learning the technical aspects of the game but after a few minutes both teams looked like they had been playing all season.
A game played in great spirit with smiles on there faces cheered on by both sets of parents and a real advert for girls football.
The training over the past months has really paid of with the girls looking confident on the ball and there timing of striking has greatly improved and even put together a few slick passing moves.
The scoreline didn't really matter onthe day but Melksham scorers were Becky (2) , Holly (1) and a own goal.
The match was finished with a penalty shootout which was enjoyed by all.
